Press the print button on your browser and then complete this form. You have probably already looked at my CounServe site and so you will already have an idea of it's appearance. We will start with the welcome page which is the first page your potential clients will see. It gives basic contact information about you.

You need to strike your own balance between accessibility and how much information you want to put out publicly about yourself. Complete the boxes that give information that you would like people to know about you. If you leave a box blank no information will appear about that subject. For example, if you do not want your full address to appear, only the town name, only complete the town box.

WRITE VERY CLEARLY. we can only use the information you provide - we can't use it if we can't read it!

Your chosen web name. For example, mine is www.counserve.co.uk/allanturner.

The normal convention on the internet is to use all lower case letters. You don't have to do this, but people may become confused if you do not.

Making your site easier to find.

Some search engine look for words which are concealed in the coding for your page, they are not visible on the site. Those search engines will display your page if there is a match. You may want to include words like "counselling", "supervision", "accredited", "Gestalt", "Person Centred", "Psychodynamic", "couples". This is called a Meta description of keywords.

Some search engine will display a phrase to describe your site as a "search result". An example might be "A BACP Accredited Client Centred Counsellor and Supervisor in Milton Keynes". If you do not specify a phrase the search engine may simple display the first 50 words of your site. This is called a Meta description of contents.

The boxes below let you insert the words and phrases you would like to use for your site.
Your Meta keywords. Max of 50.

Your Meta description. No more than about 2 lines or the search engines will either ignore it, or shorten it.
